This research is concerned with determining the impact of two regional revisionist powers on the strategic balance of power, namely; North Korea and Iran. North Korea relies on nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles to maintain its national security, due to the lack of reliable international guarantees against the nuclear threat from the United States, while Iran possesses diverse strategic capabilities that can affect the regional and global balance in the event of the continuation of its international partnerships with the Russian Federation and China, which adds additional elements of power to it.
The structure of this research was divided into three sections; the first section dealt with the concept of regional revisionist powers. The second and third sections dealt with North Korea and Iran as regional revisionist powers and their impact on the strategic balance of power.
